Flashing setup (2nd PC)

This page explains how to flash your macku.

1.) Unplug ALL cables from the Makcu device, and boot into your 2nd PC

2.) Install the Makcu Flashing tool (here) and extract the file onto an accessible folder, then run 'MAKCU.exe'

FLASH STEP 1 (LEFT):

hold the LEFT button and plug the blue cable into the LEFT USB port

After MAKCU is in flash mode, you should see "MCU connected in flash mode"

Click 'Flash Left' on the program, open the folder and use either .bin for left and then wait for it to finish

unplug USB cable from left port when your finished

FLASH STEP 2 (RIGHT):

Plug the same the same cable into the RIGHT USB port, while holding the RIGHT button

After MAKCU is in flash mode, you should see "MCU connected in flash mode"

Click 'Flash Right' on the program, open the folder and use either .bin for right and then wait for it to finish

INSTALL DRIVERS (CH343):

1.) Install the CH343 drivers (here) and extract the file onto an accessible folder

2.) Right click on the .INF file and click 'Install'

COM PORT:

1.) On your 2nd PC, go to Device Manager and open COM

2.) Make sure the COM port number for Makcu is below 1 (shown as CH343) & right click and click properties

3.) Click advanced & pick com port lower than 10, then press Ok to save

4.) You have successfully flashed your MAKCU
